We are a thriving community of outdoor enthusiasts. Through hunting, fishing, and exploring we pass down our stories, memories and passion for going outside.

We hope to move forward with grace, and progress into a brilliant future. Wether you hunt, fish, or explore here - we welcome you!

About the club

Founded in the 1940s, the Chemainus Rod & Gun Club is a small-town club built on community, tradition, and a shared love of the outdoors. Our members hunt, fish, and explore Region 1 with the same dedication and respect passed down from our original founders.

We bring people together through hands-on events like the Father’s Day Fishout, Plinkers Day, trap shooting, and our Annual Awards Banquet; creating space for connection, learning, and good company along the way.

Proudly small but always moving forward, we continue to modernize how we operate while staying true to our roots. We welcome new members and families to join us, get outside, and be part of a club that’s been doing it right for generations.
